Back in 2005 I picked up a copy of Performance Bikes Magazine, one of the main stories covered Steve Elliot's 20 plus year obsession with building & massaging his Z1 Gardner replica (of sorts).

Mr Elliot's passion, attention to every detail, shop space and general out look on the state of motorcycling all brought to life via Gary Inman's words had a really big impact on me and what I like to do.

I stumbled across that magazine yesterday & enjoyed every word and detail all over again.

Staycation

While working for ESPN/X-Games I had chance to catch Thunder Over Louisville a couple of times. Thunder over Louisville not only the kick off to derby week but pretty much the most amazing fireworks display ever. Needless to say all other fireworks shows now look like a box of sparklers.

So we're staying home slow cooking ribs, throwing shoes with a little bike tinkering thrown in.
