Power Shuriken

Yesterday while Pat & I were dismantling the airlines from the old shop we discovered some more of "Safety Matt's" handiwork buried in the ceiling tile of the 18ft ceiling.
At least it didn't end up sticking out of his face.

Lessons.

Shop Update #56

I actually had some requests for a shop update.
There's still a rather large to do list to tackle before I get into the detail work but it's getting there & today we're going start setting up the bike area which is something I was beginning to think wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
I will say this, although growing up on that damn farm sucked a lot of the time I'm grateful for the work ethic that came with it.
Even though it's been 25 years since I lived my fathers dream this project made me realize no matter how shitty/dirty the job at least I'm still capable of putting my head down and getting it done.
At least it's not cleaning stalls, shelling corn, cutting/splitting/stacking wood or cutting grass.
Thanks Dad.

Eat'N Tool

Although the hex wrench holes are 6, 8, & 10mm, the $7.00 price tag makes this a must have for your ride-n-camp kit.

Sod Buster

The Case Sod Buster , a big part of my formative years.
My father had one stashed in the glove box of the farm truck, the barns, the garage, the tractor tool kit, it seemed like there was always one within reach.
The other day I was in line at the Lowes and racked up amongst the AAA batteries at the cashier kiosk was a row of Sod Busters for $17.00. I hadn't thought of that knife in years & nostalgia got the best of me and I had to have one.

A Day Out

Yesterday I got out of carpentry duty for most of the day to go shoot some images/footage with Michael Schmidt, Homer, Jason & Major.
Great guys with a passion for their craft and bikes too. We did some fun stuff & I'm super excited to see the photos.
We ended up shooting on an old cattle farm with a few old building foundations one of which was in the process of being turned into a makeshift skate park. I'm a big fan of the build your own fun movement.
