I've had this bike in my head for a couple of years now and this donor showed up at the right time so here it is. 

My thinking was a street legal camping bike, a bike you could throw on a bumper carrier and take anywhere, no giant tank, no hard bags, and enough performance that'd be fun ride like a race bike.
