After a long couple of days Everything is finally headed to paint and plate.
I've never been a fan of most "chopper" kick stands so wanted to stick with the HD style. There's something about the clunky over engineered mechanics of it that I like.
However the mount was wrecked and then wrecked even more when someone did a so called repair. So most of yesterday afternoon was spent puzzling it back together and I figured since it is the kick stand mount I'd beef it up a bit.
I ton of clean up was done on the frame but there's also 50 years of character that I left alone.
I feel a few hundred pounds lighter today.
