I've developed a thing for knives on my seventh birthday when my Dad gave me my first Case two blade folder.
Over the years I have collected a couple boxes full of random folders and fixed blades but I tend to give away more than I keep. However I always have my eye out and recently I stumbled across Filip De Coen who is Custom BladeWorks.
Filip's designs, use of materials & different finishing techniques are amazing and even if your not into knives Filip's work is at the very least a source of inspiration.

Those are amazing. You should take a look at Mastro Livi straight razors, some are a little too showy, but his simple creations remind me a lot of these.
