Triple Clamps or Trees? Seriously trees?

I was supposed to have some bits back from chrome today, that didn't happen.

SO now what?

I did find a new front end laying next to my bench & it looked like it belonged to the neglected cone shovel in the corner.

I figured I'd completely shaved the lower and some of the upper, polished it all, stuck some 2 piece aces bars and on old spring clamp on them just to see if I could start something.

If chrome lags again tomorrow maybe I'll shave the legs and see where we are with the stance?
